What You Can Expect at Our Events
At Thornhill Digital, we are committed to creating digital spaces that are open, inclusive, and accessible to all. Whether we’re supporting clients in hosting a webinar, facilitating a panel discussion, or coordinating a community townhall, accessibility isn’t an afterthought—it’s a key part of how we plan, deliver, and improve our events.
We recognise that attendees come from diverse backgrounds, with different needs, comfort levels, and ways of engaging. That’s why we’ve put a series of core accessibility measures in place across all Thornhill Digital-supported virtual events.
Our Accessibility Commitments for Every Event
Advance Question Submission
We always endevor provide a link to submit questions ahead of time, allowing participants to contribute without needing to speak live. This supports those who prefer to engage in writing, use screen readers, or wish to reflect before submitting.
Publicly Shared Recordings
Wherever possible, event recordings are made publicly available and embedded on our website. This ensures that anyone who can’t attend live, or needs to revisit the content, can access it in their own time and on their own terms. Because of the sensitive nature of adult work, we advise participants to take extra care when sharing their video feed and/or personal information during recorded events.
Audio + Video Presentation
Speakers are encouraged, where possible and safe to do so, to use both audio and video to support a wider range of communication styles and enhance clarity for participants with different learning preferences.
Anonymous Q&A Options
We include an option to submit questions anonymously during live events. We know some topics—especially within the adult digital space—require privacy, and this feature helps ensure everyone can engage safely.
Respectful and Constructive Participation
We welcome honest, challenging, and even difficult questions, especially when they help us move important conversations forward. However, we ask that all contributions be shared respectfully and constructively. Our events are spaces for open dialogue—but also for safety and mutual respect. Submissions that are aggressive, discriminatory, or off-topic may be moderated to maintain a professional and inclusive environment for all.
Public Slide Access
Wherever possible any presentation materials, including slides, visuals, or supporting documents, are shared to participants after the event. This makes it easier for attendees to review or reference key information—especially those with cognitive or processing differences.
Muted Non-Speakers
To maintain a clear and distraction-free environment, non-speakers are muted during live sessions. This helps reduce background noise and creates a more accessible listening experience for everyone involved.
Post-Event Accessibility Feedback
After every event, we issue a short accessibility feedback form. This allows attendees to share their experience, highlight any barriers they encountered, and help us improve.
Accessibility is an evolving process, and your input is vital.
Why It Matters
The adult industry has long been underserved when it comes to digital inclusion. At Thornhill Digital, we’re actively working to change that by embedding inclusive practices into the fabric of how we operate. Whether you’re a content creator, platform provider, sex worker, or advocate, you deserve to participate fully—and comfortably—in the conversations that shape your work.
